【记录】向HostMonster反映虚拟主机的服务不稳定的问题

最近,2.3个月了,自己的网站:

crifan.com

经常出现无法登陆的情况。

极其的不稳定。

相对而言,过去的1年,基本上都还是很稳定的。就是最近不稳定。

服务器是HostMonster的。

所以,忍无可忍,打算去反应问题。


1.找到帮助页面:

https://my.hostmonster.com/cgi/help

去Open Ticket:

https://my.hostmonster.com/cgi/help/ticket

不过,待会再说。

2.看到“Contact Us”中有“Live Chat”,所以先去打开在线聊天:

https://www.hostmonster.com/cgi/chatlite?popup=1

不过却是始终连接中,无法正常显示该页面。。。

3.实在不行,只能还是先去

https://my.hostmonster.com/cgi/help/ticket

填写问题反馈信息,去发邮件了:

fill ticket then submit

 

my wordpress website:
www.crifan.com
recently two months, always, or say in most time, is out of service/unavialable
that means:
can not open up crifan.com
occur some error(such as database error while I make sure my wordpress database is ok)
in a word, in recrent two months:
most time, I want to access my site www.crifan.com
but can not open it.
While, in past one year, your service is relatively good, I can access my crifan.com in most time.

Seems that your service is quite unstable recently.
Could you please help me to fix this?

Note:
my location is in JiangShu Province of China.
And I make sure my network is Ok(available and with high net speed)

4.不过最后也终于打开了聊天窗口:

5.针对上述不论是发邮件,还是聊天,结果都很悲催的是,貌似还是无法连接上。

貌似此处连接hostmonster的网络,还是不行。。。

然后又重新试了几次,还是很悲催的不行。只能换个时间,再试试了。

6.换个时间,最后终于是通过,发邮件,提交了个ticket。

提交后,显示出对应的ticket号:

接下来,就是等待其回复了。

7.后来人家2.18号就回复了。

貌似由于我自己先后发了两封邮件,所以说到两次回复。

内容如下:

Thank you for contacting technical support.  I am currently not experiencing this same issue. If you are still unable to see your page please try clearing your cache.

To clear your cache, please follow the steps for your browser: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

As well as your DNS resolver cache: http://flush-dns.org/

Once done reload the page.  You should see fresh content taken directly from the server.

If this does not resolve the issue then you may also want to run a trace route and paste the results in this email so that I can see what is happening from your end.

****Windows Environment****

Traceroute can be accessed at a DOS or command prompt. An Internet connection must already be established.

*Windows 95-98
Click on Start > Programs > DOS Prompt or Command Prompt (NT). 

*Windows 2000 or XP
Click on Start > Run. Type command into the dialog box, then click OK.

*Windows Vista or Windows 7
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt

In the resulting command line window, type tracert hostname, where hostname can be a domain name, a machine name or an IP address.
Press Enter.
For example (without C:>):

     C:> tracert www.emints.more.net
  
****Mac OS X Environment****

Double-click the Hard Drive icon > Applications folder > Utilities folder > Network Utility program.
Select the Traceroute tab and enter the hostname, where hostname can be a domain name, a machine name or an IP address.
Press Enter.
****Novell Environment****
At the System Console screen, type load iptrace hostname, where hostname can be a domain name, a machine name or an IP address.
Press Enter.
****Linux/UNIX Environment****

Launch a command line interface (will vary depending on the operating system distribution).
In the resulting command line window or screen, type traceroute hostname, where hostname can be a domain name, a machine name or an IP address.
Press Enter.
For example:

     [sygny@linuxbox /home]# traceroute www.novell.com

If the Trace Route goes through and your page still does not come up please try using http://internetsupervision.com/ to check your URL and see if it is also erroring out on those servers. If it is not please provide your IP address, if you are unsure of your IP address please visit http://whatismyip.com and copy and paste the IP address into this email reply. 

I show that the server was down once in the last 7 days.  If you find that your site is not working please run a trace as explained above and send us the results so that we can see where the source of the disconnect is.

看起来,也不是非常懂,不知道到底问题出在哪里。

9.另外,倒是打算去开启那个CloudFlare加速。

登陆hostmonster后,进入cpanel,点击CloudFlare

click the CloudFlare

由于没有CloudFlare账户,所以需要新建一个:

create a free cloudflare account

再去激活:

activate the cloudflare

不过即使激活了,当前状态还是 inactive,看来是其所说的,需要24小时后才能生效:

可以看到一些详细的状态信息:

再点击看看高级设置:

advanced settings for cloudflare

 

至此结束,等待24小时之后,看看网站访问速度,是否能得到加速。
