About Synaptic Package Manager:
After newly installed Ubuntu, I go into Synaptic and want install build-essential
but I can’t find it and can’t do like others’ discription :
choose some software and install it.
finally ,I know how :
I havn’t do:
sudo apt-get update
after successful update
then you can see some new softwate that you havn’t installed ,then you can choose it and install it !
